Application For French or Spanish Language Community

Who may apply
Prospective residents of the language communities must complete FREN or SPAN 2001 or its equivalent before joining the community. It is not necessary to be a French or Spanish major or minor to participate in the program. What is important is a strong interest in speaking the language and a sincere commitment to participate in the community activities.

How to apply
Submit the following completed application. You may also provide this information in printed or e-mail form to the faculty coordinator for your language by 5 p.m. on Reading Day of the Fall Semester.

Applications will be reviewed after this date and finalists will be invited to an interview with the faculty coordinator. A final selection of applicants and alternates will be announced by Mid-January.
