MIA COCCO

Associate Professor Emerita of Italian
Ph.D., University of California Riverside

Dr. Mia Cocco has research interests in Italian Renaissance and Baroque literature, French Renaissance literature, Petrarch, Poliziano, and Dante. She is Past President of Gamma Kappa Alpha, National Italian Honor Society, and a past NEH fellow. She is the author of La tradizione cortese ed il petrarchismo nella poesia di Clément Marot (Firenze: Olschki). Her articles have appeared in Rivista di studi italiani, Quaderni d'italianistica, Origini del dramma pastorale in Europa, Italian Women Writers, Pacific Coast Philology, and Il Veltro, among others.
