TIMOTHY RASER Professor of French Dr. Timothy Raser has research interests in 19th century French poetry and sthetics, and the relation of literature and the visual arts. He has published A Poetics of Criticism: The Case of Baudelaire, the selected papers of the 23rd annual NCFS colloquium, Peripheries of Nineteenth-Century French Literature, which is in press, and articles on Hugo, Baudelaire and Proust in the Romanic Review, Nineteenth-Century French Studies, French Forum, and SubStance. He is currently conducting research into the rhetoric of art criticism. |
