I am a PhD candidate in the Romance Languages Department at UGA. My main interest is on Second Language Acquisition, Spanish as a second language, Study Abroad Programs, and Spanish Phonology.
My dissertation explores second language fluency, and particularly, how the participation in study abroad programs can have an impact in the second language fluency.
At UGA, I have taught several Spanish courses (1001, 2001, 2002), both online and face to face. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for SPAN3050 twice.
My future goal is to stablish a Spanish Study Abroad program at the University where I work.
