Felipe Trevisan Ferreira is a Fulbright Portuguese Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia. He holds a MA in Language Studies from the State University of Londrina and since 2013 has been a member of the Language and Education research group (funded by the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development and one of the longest-running research groups on socio-discursive interactionism in Brazil). Felipe has also been a part of the GO Teach Russia project, in Siberia – Russia. His main area of research deals with queer pedagogies in language teaching, citizenship and critical thinking.
