Laura Scott (she, her, hers) is a PhD student in French and Francophone literatures. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies in Spring 2021.
Passionate about teaching and learning, Laura is a member of the 2021 cohort of the Future Faculty Fellows Program (3FP), a recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in Spring 2021, and completed an internship in the Center for Teaching and Learning in Summer 2020. She has previously taught FREN 1001, 1002, 1110 and 2001.
Laura engages regularly in professional development and enjoys helping others in their own development paths. She currently serves on the Student Advisory Board for the Experiential Professional Development (xPD) program for graduate students.
She is actively involved in the Romance Languages Graduate Student Organization, serving as President during the 2020-2021 academic year and Secretary in 2019-2020.
