The Program

SUMMER 2024

Dates: May 31- July 12 2024

UGABA's summer program is an intensive, six-week Spanish immersion program for advanced students. Students are housed with Argentine host families and earn 6 college credits during the program. Students attend class five days per week. The program offers cultural activities such as tango dancing lessons, cooking classes, and museum visits as well as excursions on the weekends to an Estancia ("gaucho" ranch) and a group trip to Salta and Jujuy* in northern Argentina.

At this time there are no official drop-in hours for the program. Please email tango@uga.edu if you have any questions!

*Please note that the group trip destination may have to be altered for reasons related to enrollment numbers and/or concerns related to group-trip infrastructure. In this event, our group trip will most likely go to Salta/Jujuy, northwest of Argentina.
