Welcome to UGA Romance Language's French program. In addition to French language courses, we offer a wide range of classes on global Francophonie, or French-speaking regions around the world. With strong language skills and training in literature, media, culture, history, and politics, our French majors graduate well-equipped to enter multiple career paths and a variety of graduate and professional schools.

Portuguese - Romance Languages AB

Students of Portuguese at UGA gain excellent language skills and training in the literature, media, culture, history, and politics of the fascinating and diverse Luso-Brazilian world. Our Romance Languages majors with a focus on Portuguese graduate with a unique set of skills that prepare students for professional school in law or medicine, graduate school, and a broad spectrum of career pathways in public and private sector employment.

Spanish AB, Romance Languages

Explore the Spanish language and its diverse traditions in courses designed to build your oral proficiency and knowledge of a vast cultural heritage.
