The Department of Romance Languages congratulates recent graduate Emily Haden on her acceptance to the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (NALCAP)!

Lucía Bauza, who is graduating with degrees in French and Linguistics, has been selected for a position as an English language assistant in Lille, France, through the French government's TAPIF program.

Congratulations to Romance Languages doctoral students Vera Bulla and Bethany Bateman McDonald, who have won UGA's prestigious Excellence-in-Teaching and Excellence-in-Research Awards!

Ximena Luna, M.A. in Spanish, accompanied by her parents and Dr. Sharina Maillo-Pozo, was honored at the ALAS graduation in Spring '23 along with Spanish undergraduates minors and majors during the graduation event recognizing UGA's Latinx students.
