Spanish Professor Luís Correa-Díaz elected member of the Academia Chilena de la Lengua

Congratulations to Spanish Professor Luís Correa-Díaz, who "was unanimously elected as a US-based Member of the Chilean Academy of Languages (Academia Chilena de la Lengua), in recognition of his 'outstanding merits as a writer, poet, and literary critic.'"

Congratulations to Amélia Hutchinson on Translation Grant

Dr. Amélia Hutchinson's Fernão Lopes project has been awarded a translation grant from the Luso-American Foundation to continue its work translating medieval Portuguese author Fernão Lopes' chronicles.
