The Department of Romance Languages would like to congratulate Spanish and Geography major Sarah Mizrah on winning the prestigious Harry S. Truman scholarship!

Dr. Amélia Hutchinson's Fernão Lopes project has been awarded a translation grant from the Luso-American Foundation to continue its work translating medieval Portuguese author Fernão Lopes' chronicles.

Congratulations to Dr. Betina Kaplan, who has been awarded one of two university-wide Service Learning Excellence Awards for her work engaging Spanish students with service projects in Buenos Aires and as well as with the Hispanic population of Athens.
